Economist, graduate of management and spatial economics at Poznań University of Economics. PhD student in economics, interested in ecological economics and degrowth concept. Explores the potential of cities to support transition towards post-growth economy through active shaping of their built environments.Co-founder and manager of Heksagon Research, practise-oriented research company based in Poznań, Poland.In ITEM, he is responsible for quantitative analyses supporting scenario-making in Poznań, Poland.

Aleksandra Lis

Aleksandra Lis is the Associate Professor in Social Anthropology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (AMU), Poland. She obtained a PhD degree at the Central European University in Budapest in 2013 with a dissertation on the politics of carbon markets’ creation in the European Union. Since then, she worked in the area of social studies of energy and climate change as a research fellow at various European and U.S. based research institutions.In 2019, she was awarded a Fulbright Senior Award for a research stay at the Center for Science, Medicine, Technology and Society at UC Berkeley, CA.

Marek Jaskólski

Doctor of Earth and Environmental Sciences & practitioner in urban planning conducts research aimed at understanding multifaceted changes in the Arctic environment under conditions of climate warming and civilization threats.He professes the need for a holistic and interdisciplinary approach to current scientific problems. In his research, he uses methods from the borderline of Earth sciences and socio-economic geography and spatial economy. He is interested in practical application of the idea of sustainable development coupled with rational spatial management.

Zuzanna Jezierska

Social scientist with a backround in sociology, Research Master student at the University of Amsterdam and researcher at Heksagon Research. Currently she is developping her skills in qualitative methods, putting a great emphasis on doing research by ‘just’ talking to people. Her main interests focus on children and youth empowerment alongside with equal access to alternative transportation modes. In the project she works on individual research project about escooters and household perspective in the transition to electromobility. She also manages ITEM’s website and social media.

Filip Schmidt

Filip Schmidt PhD, Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology, Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan and Co-investigator at Heksagon Research. His areas of expertise have been primarily focused on the sociology of everyday life practices and mechanisms of their transformation. In the last years he has engaged in urban and mobility studies: first, the role of cultural education in social engagement and urban life, then the relation between urban space and social relations in different types of housing estates and urban lifestyles, and finally the urban mobility and its transformations.

Magdalena Szemioth

A sociologist, graduate at the Faculty of Sociology of the University of Warsaw, as well as a researcher at Heksagon Research and Smartscope. She obtained a bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Scojology at the University of Warsaw, defending a thesis dealing with the problem of attitudes towards climate change and climate denialism. Involved in climate activism, interested in attitudes towards global warming, as well as in market and opinion research. In the ITEM project she is responsible for managing social media and disseminating information on electromobility.

Rafał Szymanowski

Assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznan, Poland. He has studied international relations and international economy in Poland (AMU) and Berlin (HWR). His research concentrates on the fields of international political economy and economic policy. He is interested in, among others, economic integration, political economy of economic crises, the role of ideas and economic cultures in policy making. In ITEM he will focus on how electric mobility policy can be made more participatory and inclusive.
