Tanu Priya Uteng

Dr. Tanu Priya Uteng has worked across a host of cross-cutting issues in the field of urban and transport planning, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses. She has edited the book Gendered Mobilities, Urban Mobilities in the Global South and Gendering Smart Mobilities and has contributed to several others. She is currently leading several long-term strategic projects looking at topics like shared mobility, gendered travel behaviour, first-last mile, and climate policy making.

Lars Böcker

Dr. Lars Böcker has broad competence in the design, coordination, qualitative analyses and multivariate analyses of quantitative transport datasets. Böcker publishes and reviews regularly in highly ranked peer-reviewed scientific journals on topics related to travel and sustainability behaviours, accessibility and urban planning, and is active in lecturing, supervising, and coordinating project work packages on these issues.

Erik Figenbaum

Erik Figenbaum has worked on EM from different perspectives since the early 1990s, holding different positions within research, electric vehicle development and transport and environment authorities. He currently leads TØI’s research group on Transport Technology and Environment His work includes studies of user behaviour and needs of BEV and ICEV owners, studies on the diffusion and transition of BEVs, and total cost of ownership.

Marianne Knapskog

Marianne Knapskog studies integrated land use and transport planning, policy packaging and planning processes. She primarily employs a qualitative lens in doing so. She has over 10 years of experience from Norwegian town planning offices in Tromsø and Trondheim. This is reflecting her work at TØI as her research projects to a large extent encompass planning and decision-making processes mainly in a Norwegian or Scandinavian setting, and how land use policies and practices and walkability influence planning in cities.
